Step 1: Vocational Guidance Test

The first thing to do is to apply for the test, which measure aspects of intelligence, abstract reasoning, numerical ability, verbal ability, among others.

The cost of the test is Q. 50.00. You can print your payment document in the Online Services section.

After paying in the Bank, go to the Vocational Guidance Office (3rd. Floor, Bienestar Estudiantil Building) to assign to the test. Remember that this process is personal and you must present a photo identification (identity card, license, passport, school ID card with a stamp). The Vocational Guidance Office is open 7:30 to 15:00 hrs, Monday to Friday. At the time of delivery you assign one side with the date, time and location for testing. Please take note of instructions to assist with the necessary materials. Remember that this test it's not graded, it's just a guidance to one of the most important decisions of your life.

At the conclusion of this phase, the tutor will explain the results you got. It is very important that you attend this talk because you can better guide your decision about the career you want to take and also because at this time the tutor will give you the Carnet de Orientacion Vocacional, who qualifies you to continue the process to the Basic Skills Test.

The dates on which you can assign to the test is from January to October (October 22). Remember that the sooner you take the test, it is better so you can use the different opportunities for the Basic Knowledge Test (step 2).
